Corporal Blake Adair Reynolds - Delaware County Sheriff's Office - Indiana

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on November 12, 2025, Corporal Blake Reynolds of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office (Indiana), parked behind a disabled semitruck with his patrol lights activated on Interstate 69.

While assisting the driver of the disabled vehicle, another tractor-trailer crashed into his patrol vehicle, the disabled semitruck, and Corporal Reynolds who was standing outside of his patrol vehicle. 

Corporal Reynolds was transported to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. 

Corporal Reynolds was a United States Army National Guard veteran and had served with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office for three years. He is survived by his wife, parents, and brother.  Our prayers and condolences to Corporal Reynolds' family and department.
