Firefighter Todd Pendleton - Goldsby Fire Department - Oklahoma
Share
At approximately 3:17 a.m. on March 20, 2026, firefighters from the Goldsby Fire Department (Oklahoma) were responding to a structure fire in McClain County.
While en route, two firefighters were killed when their tanker truck left the roadway, rolled, and hit a tree. One of these firefighters was Firefighter Todd Pendleton who was 62 years old. Pendleton was a 12-year veteran firefighter and EMT in his hometown. In addition to his volunteer work, Pendleton was a graphic journalist for The Oklahoman, where he worked for nearly four decades.
Our prayers and condolences to Firefighter Bryan Jenkins family both at home and with the Goldsby Fire Department.
