On May 14, 2026, Officer Dylan Chase Owen from the Citronelle Police Department (Alabama) was killed in a single-vehicle crash on North Mobile Street near Laird Drive in Citronelle.
Around 3:30 p.m., while driving southbound on North Mobile Street, Officer Owen's patrol vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Despite immediate lifesaving measures, Officer Owen died at the scene.
Officer Owen had served with the Citronelle Police Department for two years. Our prayers and condolences to Officer Owen's family both at home as well as with the Citronelle Police Department.
